CLP: Dialogue with Industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 15 May 2025, the General Chemical State Laboratory (GCSL) organised an information workshop focusing on the European regulations <strong>REACH<\/strong> and <strong>CLP<\/strong>, addressed to the Greek industry and chemical market players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop aimed to strengthen cooperation between competent authorities and businesses, providing practical information on critical issues of compliance, registration, labelling and control of chemicals and mixtures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights of the workshop<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The presentations covered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The obligations of businesses under <strong>REACH<\/strong> (registration, evaluation, authorisation and restrictions).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Correct classification and labelling in accordance with <strong>CLP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The need for continuous training and technical guidance, especially for SMEs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of the GCSL as <strong>National Competent Authority (NCA)<\/strong> and the importance of institutional support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference was attended by representatives of the Federation of Greek Industries, professional associations, industry executives and scientists from the General State Laboratory, underlining the common need for <strong>foreseeing, preventing and adapting to the requirements of European legislation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The full video of the workshop is available from the official Hellenic Tax Administration's official YouTube channel and can be watched below: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"REACH &amp;
